Yvonne S. Lee-Long

Dr. Yvonne S. Lee-Long is a licensed Social worker since 2011. Yvonne obtained her LGSW in 2022, and her PhD in social work with a concentration in family intervention and preservation in 2023. Yvonne is an entrepreneur and owns her own case management firm assisting aged and disabled waiver participants. While she runs her firm “My September Case Management” she continues to work in the community as a therapist and activist giving back to her community. Yvonne has been working as a therapist for 3 years under contract as she grows her business and works as an adjunct professor for West Virginia State University. Yvonne serves on the board of West Virginia Budget and Finance, and WV CAN (Children Advocacy Network). She is appointed to ACL Grandparents committee where she is working on SGRG ACT supporting Grandparents raising grandchildren. She is a member of Charleston Institute Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Inc., WV ACES coalition, and Kanawha Chapter of the NAACP. Yvonne participates in her community as a mentor, advocate, and leader for at-risk youth.
